Today's Dream: What's On Your Shelf?

Being a fashion major calls for finding what inspires you most so that you succeed, not only in classes but also in the fashion world too. Over the years I've started collecting certain books and magazines that just really sparked my interest and inspired me with new styling techniques.

Here is a small piece of what is on my shelf of fashion books! First on the list is Darling Magazine, they are a series of magazines that come out for every season. They cover everything from styling to cooking to makeup! I definitely suggest buying a subscription and get ready to better yourself! Next is VOGUE, I mean....duh. Lastly, but certainly not least, are my favorite style books! "Tim Gunn's Fashion Bible" is ideal for any questions you might have from undergarments to the right shoes! "Parisian Chic" by Ines de la Fressange is a wonderful how-to book for achieving that Audrey Hepburn look in a modern way. Since a lot of us cannot make it to Paris for the ultimate inspiration, this is the best way to get your fix! "I <3 Your Style" by Amanda Brooks carries you through the decades of the world's most iconic women and what they wore, got to love a vintage spin on your wardrobe! Lastly is "Style Yourself" by 95 bloggers (literally). This is packed with all of your favorite blogger photos and their tips without having to use data or wifi! In other words, it's one of my faves.

So there you have it, some of my favorite books that I actually suggest you all check out! Most of these can be found at Barnes & Noble, Anthropologie, and Amazon! Have fun friends!
