Today’s Dream: My Favorites

As a woman of 5’6, maxi dresses are my closet BFFs. They make me look tall and slender so what more could a girl ask for? Forgive my bluntness, but maxi dresses are the perfect excuse to not shave your legs and still look like a million dollars…you’re welcome. This dress in particular is from Anthropologie about two-three years ago, but it’s one of my favorites! Thankfully maxi dresses have come away from the too conservative/boring spinster look and have made their way to places like Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters over the years. Thank the Lord that they are here to stay for a while; even if they at some point are deemed “dated” I will still happily turn them into a vintage concept. There is no way I will let my maxi dresses and skirts leave me!

At the top of my ensemble is my favorite hat from Anthropologie. I love that it is a smaller version of a sun hat with a bow (my signature). These colors go with just about everything in my closet and I must say that I highly recommend one of these delightful hats to all of you! It will become one of your greatest assets on bad hair days and is a great fall to winter transition piece!
