Today’s Dream: “To all who come to this happy place: welcome.” - Walt Disney

I have had an annual pass to Disneyland for a year and a half now with my sister Micaela. Let’s just say it has been the most magical year and a half we've ever had! So I decided to share some of our tips that we have acquired and learned from our experiences so far. We go about every four to eight weeks because living in Arizona makes it a little hard to get there as ofter as we prefer. So here are ten tips when going to Disneyland in Anaheim (more to come in the future)!

1. Park-hopper, always a park-hopper. Sure it may cost $150 but you will have more options for fun, food, and entertainment!

2. Bring you're own food! That’s right Disney is one of the few kind theme parks that allow you to bring whatever you want (but no alcohol)! This will save you a lot of money at the parks and they have drinking fountains so that you are able to refill water bottles!

3. Do the big rides first. My sister and I always do our favorite/big rides first, like Indiana Jones, Space Mountain, and Peter Pan, because those lines are always the longest.

4. Do Disneyland first and then California Adventure. Why? Because characters are only out during the mornings and afternoons in Disneyland and California Adventure’s attractions and food are best at night.

5. Wear comfy shoes. I don’t care if those wedges are like slippers, your feet will thank you for the tennis shoes after being at the park for 12 hours!

6. Pick an evening show: do World of Color one night and do Fantasmic/Fireworks the next! It will be less stressful.

7. Single Rider! If you have adults in your party or have 6 or less, the single rider line is the best. Not only will you get on big rides faster (like Splash Mountain or Radiator Springs Racers), but you now also have the opportunity to meet new people! People come from around the world to this place, why not learn about another culture why you're having fun?!

8. Call two days ahead for character dinning. You're welcome. There are no spots for spontaneous groups, they are always booked out.

9. Need to kick your feet up? Mickey’s Magical Map in Fantasy Land and Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular in California Adventure are the best for a little break and some incredible entertainment! Mickey’s Magical map is an outdoor amphitheater in Disneyland that has singing and dancing to some of the classics! Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular is an indoor theater (great for during the hottest part of the day) that portrays “The tale of the magic lamp.” P.s. if you have kids with you make sure you set them on the end or in the front row, the actors will interact a bit with them!

10. Either dress up or dress witty. What I mean by this is if you dress up, you will slay every picture you take and the princesses will LOVE you for it! Dress like you are in the 50’s or dress up like a character and disneybound! If you dress witty with a funny t-shirt or hat, you will make the cast members laugh and its an easy conversation starter! A great place to order shirts for your trip is Cakeworthy (just make sure you order well in advance because they are shipped from Canada)!

Hope these tips are helpful for your next trip!

xoxo,
