“To The Easter Parade”

Today’s Dream: Happy Easter To You!

Happy (early) Easter darlings! This holiday is so much fun for me because it’s an excuse to dress up and wear bright sparkles, eat unmentionable amounts of chocolate, I get to watch “Easter Parade” (with Judy Garland and Fred Astair), and (most importantly) I get to celebrate my Lord!! I just love Easter, I thankfully always have it off so I get to be all fancy for church and show off my finest Spring dress. But this year I thought I’d mix it up a bit. It suddenly occurred to me that there is no rule that you MUST wear a dress to Easter service or BUST. So I decided that this year I’m going to wear what I actually want to wear: my newest floral pants from Ann Taylor and a sparkled tank top! The outfit covers all the bases: pink, patterned, flowy, and heels. So why not right?! I love this outfit, I’ll be sure to wear this one a few times because it’s perfect for so many occasions besides: dinner, girls night out, work (only because I work in retail), and even grocery shopping.

So now that you know what I’ll be wearing, here are five tips if you are struggling to find something this year!

If you don’t like prints I promise that the fashion firing squad won’t shoot you. Solids are great too!

Not a fan of bright colors? Try pastel colors instead because lavender and mint are HUGE this season!

PANTS ARE ALLOWED.

Maxi dresses and a scarf are your BFF if you have to be at sunrise service (bless y’all who actually attend!)

My favorite shops this season are Forever 21, Ann Taylor (they’re having a sale!), LOFT, and BCBG for dresses and skirts!
