Today’s Dream: Part Time Extrovert

My closet may contain some very outgoing pieces but in reality, I am an introvert. My idea of a great time is binge watching Netflix with wine. Anybody else? So when I got back from vacation, this entire week, I have been dying to be with the people. It was so weird but definitely rewarding at the same time (shout out to my friends who joined in the fun)! That being said, I took a small hiatus from the blogging world to enjoy those moments. Focusing on the memories and people will always be more valuable to me than documenting it on social media. It is so fulfilling! I believe that the phrase “youth is wasted on the young” is real. These days so many young people are far more concerned about Instagraming that they miss the moments and opportunities in front of them. So I encourage you darling, put the phone away when you are with your friends and family and instead cherish them by being present emotionally, not just physically. After all, life is too short to be wasted! I dare you to try it out!
