Today’s Dream: Part 1 of 2 hair tutorials!
Hello Darlings! Long time no see, I know. But not to worry, I am back at it with a wonderful collaboration with my dear friend Kaylee! She and I worked at Anthropologie for a few years and she just happens to be a wonderful hairdresser. So we teamed up to bring you some Fall hair looks that you can try to get you through those hair struggles!
For Part 1, here is how to do a Boho Braid and The Second Day Blowout in a step by step process with visual aid. Good luck darlings!

The Boho Braid
Step 1:
Create a low ponytail and secure with elastic.

Step 2:
Wrap a small section of hair from the ponytail around the elastic and secure with bobby pin.

Step 3:
Alternate securing small sections of hair and wrapping around opposite side, creating loops around previous section.

Step 4:
Continue this pattern down the length of the ponytail and secure with elastic.

Step 5:
Begin pulling apart the braid to create texture and a lived-in feel.

Tada! You are done!

Second Day Blowout (or 3rd or 4th....)
Step 1:
Using a large barrel curling iron, begin curling hair from the nape of your neck, pulling as high as you can to create lots of volume.

Step 2:
Pull out the bend in the curls at the ends to create a loose wave.

Step 3:
Continue to the top of your head trying to create as much volume at the base of the scalp by over-directing hair up and forward.

Step 4:
Using dry shampoo to create fullness, texture, and volume, add as much as needed to your roots.

Step 5:
Back comb the crown area for added height and volume.

Step 6:
Finish with a medium hold hairspray.
